About Me

My writing career started, I would say, the minute I first got glasses. I use to hate reading, and while I don't remember getting headaches, except for in the car, I would always have my head down low on the table to read. I just found it more comfortable. Little did I know, I really needed glasses to be able to see the book in front of me.
As any good author knows, writing and reading go hand in hand. The minute I began to love to read, I had set myself a path to write.
Now, in second grade, or perhaps third grade, was when I began my love affair with books. In fifth grade, after writing a story heavily based on Taylor Swift's "Love Story" and the fact my brother was reading Romeo and Juliet in high school, I began to take the worlds swirling in my head to paper. Granted, I give lots of credit to my two English teachers who praised my story that year. They got me thinking, "Hey, this is something I'm good at!"

I continued into middle school taking creative writing classes until I got to high school where I took my learning out of the classroom. I started on several websites, sharing my stories until finally senior year. Around that time, I thought it best to go back and edit, proofread a bit more, and even rewrite some of my older stories while continuing to formulate new worlds around the clock.

Here I am, a graduate and working towards a higher education. I struggle with motivation currently, but my thoughts are never far from the work I set down and never picked back up.

I've developed my own unique style and pattern throughout high school and college. As I grow, I hope I will provide gain more insight that I can incorporate into future books I hope to share with you.

one of my favorite quotes

"Quiet people are often found to have profound insights. The shallow water in a brook or river runs fast; The deep water seems calmer."
